WDC Opens Doors to College

By directly purchasing courses at local community and technical colleges, the WDC has opened doors for almost 200 low-income residents who seek skills for high-demand careers. The Recovery Act (federal stimulus) and state matching funds made it possible for this program, which is one of the most successful of its kind in the nation. Read more…
