About WDC

Recognizing the need to ensure better employment and training services to persons with disabilities, the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County has pursued funding, developed programs and created local and national system linkages to assist persons with disabilities seeking work.

Underemployed and unemployed persons with disabilities represent a significant potential contribution to the workforce. The Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County emphasizes the importance of accessible and customized services to persons with disabilities.

 

Of particular concern are people with "hidden" or "non-visible" disabilities.
