PUGET SOUND CENTER FOR TEACHING, LEARNING AND TECHNOLOGY The Puget Sound Center’s goal is to meet the regional market demand for future-ready information and communication technology professionals with flexible, timely training solutions.

WASHINGTON SOFTWARE ALLIANCE – A technology trade membership association with a mission that includes sharing expertise, delivering key business services and leading the advocacy of issues necessary to keep Washington a leader in the digital economy.

TECHNOLOGY ACCESS FOUNDATION Provides free technical and workforce development training to Seattle’s low-income communities of color. TAF operates three programs (TechStart, TTIP, and Higher Education Bound) that targets kids from kindergarten to college.

DIGITAL BRIDGE YOUTH ACADEMY An IT training program located at YouthSource in Renton, founded to provide technology training for low-income,

"at-risk" youth, many of whom are out-of-school youth.

NORTHEAST VOCATIONAL AREA COOPERATIVE (NEVAC) NEVAC is a consortium of nine school districts in the region north and east of Seattle that has been in partnership for 20 years and shares over 35 Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. NEVAC's High Tech Learning Centers (HTLCs) deliver state-of-the-art IT education to students in the member high schools.

NATIONAL WORKFORCE CENTER FOR EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES (NWCET) – Over the past 10 years, NWCET has completed a number of education and technology projects and grants, and has developed several nationally recognized products and services including: IT Skill Standards, Standards Based Curriculum Applications, IT Program Design and Implementation, National IT Faculty Development Outreach, and IT and Technology Horizon Research. NWCET is located at Bellevue Community College.

 

Cyber Careers is a project of the NWTEC, the National Science Foundation and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. It offers a complete resource to students, faculty and counselors exploring and teaching about the world of Information Technology careers.
